Structure

The
Center, which has an inter-professional and semi-public mission,
is managed by a Board of Administrators, whose members are nominated
every three years by ministerial order and include:

company
directors representing the fields of viticulture and nursery
sector,
-
representatives
of the technical personnel in the above sectors,
-
specialists
from competent institutions or organizations (ENSA-M, INAO,
INRA, ITV, ONIVINS), a State Controller for the Ministry
of the Economy, Finance and Industry and a Government Auditor
from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
The Center has its own resources and also works in close cooperation
with organizations such as the Chamber of Agriculture, Inter-professional
bodies and technical institutions (ENSA-M, INAO, INRA, ITV,
ONIVINS).
Budget decisions and strategic orientations taken by the Board
of Administrators are formulated by committees or work groups:
- Executive
Committee: comprising the President, 1st Vice President
and the Vice Presidents,
- Scientific
and Technical Committee: representatives from research,
higher education, experimental and administrative bodies and
also professionals, members of the Board of Administrators
for the Viticulture and Nursery sectors,
- Regional
Technical Assemblies and Committees: these are dedicated
structures for consultation, studies, and application representing
each major wine producing region,
- Varietal
Work Groups: information collection, reports and
proposals with respect to varietal selection on a nationwide
basis,
- Consulting
Committee: guidelines for the management of the ENTAV
INRA trademark and the distribution of clones internationally,
- National
Technical Committee for Selection and Participation:
defines the policy for the distribution of clones and the
conditions for the distribution of sums gained from the exploitation
of the ENTAV INRA trademark among the regional partners.
