  Syrah decline  
   
Decline of a Syrah N vine : typical leaf reddening   Issue concerning mainly the vineyards of the Mediterranean surround, it is characterized by the appearance of a big roll at the rootstock which presents deep cracks and by a reddening/blushing of the leaves. The damage can entail the death of the stock. Many research lines are currently investigated.
  • Eventual role of pathogenic agents,
  • Possibility of transmission on other varieties,
  • Histological study of the graft point on wooded, herbaceous and in vitro material,
  • Map-making (see regional partners).
