The National Technical Association for Viticultural Improvement was set up under the initiative of Professor J. Branas with President C. Daussant and the support of public authorities, the INRA and viticultural professional bodies in 1962.

It was renamed ENTAV in 1986 to adopt the status of Industrial Technical Center as defined by law number 48-1228 dated 22nd July 1948.

    Domaine de l'Espiguette -1962-
1962 : set up of the vineyard,
1969 : building construction,
1970 : first greenhouse for indexing
1995 : first nursery at the "Domaine de 'Espiguette
